Thanksgiving shenanigans…

One of my favorite Thanksgiving memories is from a few years ago, when my sister-in-law was spending her first Thanksgiving with our family. She was with me, my brothers & my dad in the kitchen–all of us picking away at the leftover desserts later in the evening–when all of a sudden, Debra looked at the can of whipped cream and said, “Do you guys wanna play a game?!”

A game!? In the Romano household??! Heck yes, we want to play a game!!!!

And before we knew it, we were flipping our wrists and whipped cream was flying all over the kitchen! Of course, you’re supposed to strategically flip the whipped cream so as to actually catch it in your mouth, but after a couple of years we still aren’t that good yet. We found ourselves “practicing” in the kitchen tonight, wishing Debra was with us to show us how it’s done. But sadly, she and my brother are spending time with her family today so we had to attempt it without her and send her evidence of our progress…
